Check out these new totes that I put in my booth at the Plaid Peacock in Roanoke, TX. I LOVE them! The size would make a great overnight tote or diaper bag. For my out of town friends I can ship it to you.
As a followup to the post from March 18th, here are pictures from that install. I love these panels! The fabric was a beautiful rust red and the material was a heavy linen. I hung these in my living room to hem them and I loved the color. I am going to make these for my living room as well. This client was waiting for her shutters before I could install the curtains and the finished product (curtains and shutters) is perfection.
OK…How many of us have wondered if the neighbor can see into our bathrooms even though the glass is frosted? I know I have. Drapes can be the easiest solution. This simple design can be transformed into so many different styles. The samples below are technically the same curtain just changed up a bit and I have used it time and again. The curtain on the right even has black out liner to help reflect the heat since this is a west facing window. Beautiful and purposeful!
I just finished a big drapery job…six pinch pleat curtains. They turned out great! I started out thinking I might try a new way of doing them. I have been asked often why don’t you use pleaters tape? Well, now I know why. I tried it out on scrape material and it did not save me time and it didn’t look as clean. I am always up for learning something new but in this case “stick with what you know”.
I am really excited to start sharing with you all my projects in one spot. I have been working on many new things in the last year. Staying busy, busy, busy!
Hope you enjoy!
